I’m excited to introduce you to a new book released this month, Incredible Lives and the Courage to Live Them. It is a great resource, endorsed by some of the most trusted voices in the expatriate and Third Culture Kid worlds: Marilyn Gardner, Tanya Crossman, Ruth Van Reken, Lauren Wells, and others. In short chapters and a lively, personable writing voice, Dr. Carson affirms the swath of experiences of Third Culture Kids and touches on important and vulnerable aspects of their lives with wise tenderness.

You can find Incredible Lives and the Courage to Live Them here.

In April Djibouti launched a crackdown on illegal migrants. In the year 2022 more than 220,000 people entered Djibouti illegally, usually hoping to use Djibouti as a throughway, not necessarily an end stop. That is the equivalent of 1/4 of the total population.

The Horn

No End in Sight in Sudan’s Conflict

Kenyan cult ends in what some are calling a massacre. This is such a sad, horrific story.

Have a great week.
